We manage 31,923 acres of natural protected areas, which include nature reserves and conservation easements throughout Puerto Rico.

Due to the fragility of many of these areas, and because most provide habitats for rare or endangered species, we can only use these lands in ways that do not affect, contaminate or damage their delicate ecological balance.

We have worked along the years in many of our natural areas to provide you with adequate facilities for your visit and to ensure that you can enjoy them while protecting their ecological balance.

You are always invited to our visitor centers. To participate in the many events we make available to you, we do ask that you make reservations. Many events are free of charge and are constantly available throughout Puerto Rico. Participate now!
