The Miranda Family Philanthropic Fund chose Para la Naturaleza for the second consecutive year as one of seven non-profit organizations to receive a match of up to $100 for each donation. The special match lasted two days and allowed 180 people to donate.
A digital Solidarity Box was provided as a thank-you to the donors. It includes recipes from six local chefs participating in this year’s annual fundraising event Seasons, live videos of the chefs preparing the recipes, and a guide to local seasonal products.
There were several chef duos collaborating for the event, including Gabriel Hernández from Verde Mesa and Martín Louzao from Cocina Abierta, Francis Guzmán from Vianda and Lucía Merino from Lucía Patisserie, Natalia Vallejo from Cocina al Fondo, and María Grubb from Underground Dining Club.
As a continuation of our fundraising efforts, the Seasons digital experience was made available for anyone who contributed $10 or more. There is still an opportunity to get or gift a Solidarity Box, while supporting Para la Naturaleza. It makes an excellent holiday gift that doesn’t require too much effort.
